THANK YOU
WOW! What a show last night. The turnout was amazing. We filled Access Tucson beyond capacity and they were kind enough to look the other way as not to keep to many out. Unfortunately they had to turn away just a few stragglers.  The live broadcast came off without a hitch! Can you believe that! The reading was something I will never forget.
Vaudeville Cabaret was packed as well. Elbow to elbow baby, and the beer was flowin'. It truly was thirst quenchin' Poetry there.  The line up at each venue was spectacular. And at the end of this phase we were still on schedule.
It's fathers day this morning so I am going to go enjoy it. There is so much I want to say but for now...
THANK YOU will have to do.

Slab City Slam
O.K., So I think I have acclimated to the heat again. Every time about this year I break off with updates to gather myself for the onslaught of 100+ degrees of summer. I am back. Man oh man, Arcosanti Slab City Slam was the SHIT!  So many things to say, so many talented performers and friends it's hard to put in to words. Let's just say it was AWESOME. The main organizers (Dan S., Ira M. and Jewel B.) did another splendid job in bringing all of us word warriors together.  If you didn't or never have made/make the trek up to Arcosanti to share in this wonderful event, you really missed out. Do yourself a favor and make time next Memorial Day Weekend and get up there. You will be glad you did.
**Note: Tucson's 10th Annual Poetry Crawl is on June 17th, Saturday. Hit the link for more info.
