Slam tonight
January 27th, the Ocotillo Poetry Slam returns with the first slam of
2007!
6:30 pm, Bentley's House of Coffee
and Tea, 1730 E Speedway, suggested
donation $5.
6:30--Sign-up to slam.
7:00--Feature PAULIE LIPMAN.
Paulie Lipman has been at this spoken word
thing
for about 6 years. He has been on 6 Denver National Slam Teams, including
2004's
2nd place team and 2006's National Champions. He has 3 CD's: The
SlavewageEP, the FemininEP, and Non Silent Protest,
has extensively
toured the
US and a little Canada, including many schools (Grade-College) and youth
correctional
facilities...and he can't wait to meet you!

AOL is ASS!!!
I can't believe I was bending over for AOL for so long! But no more!!! AOL had been screwing me w/ poor service for premium
prices. I have now moved on to Cox.net w/ their high speed that blows the doors off the DSL I was getting w/ AOL, and for
less mullah!! AOL is the DEVIL! (enter Dr. Evil voice here) Now all the video I surf for plays like butta baby!

No Lamplight in January!
I'm sorry to say that the Lamplight Reading Series is skipping January. Don't worry we will be back in February and continue
on as usual after that. AT a new Venue!! More info on that to come.
